You might want to check Guitar Center. They sell some good reference books on all the major DAW software (Sonar, Cubase, Logic, Protools, etc.). A good one is the 'Power' series by Thomson Media.

Cakewalk recently introduced a 64bit version of Sonar. I'm kind of interested how it runs on the Athalon64 processors on 32bit windows. I'm still bummed about there not being a 64bit version of Logic for the G5 yet.

I wouldn't waste me time if I was you Gilbert. You are much better off with Reason or something more high-end if you are really serious about it.

from my experiences most of the production platforms like that follow the same basic structure. I'm well versed in Ableton, Cubase, Acid Pro and Protools.........so i figure i can probably give you some help if ya want. Hit me up whenever, or I'll stop in at Core whenever I stop being poor.
