I dont know what happened... I just finished killing Trevalyan for the 20357 time and this song popped in my head. I heard Timo open with it at Lizzie-Head and I can't shake it. I know that it is the chemical brothers and taht is all I know. Anyone know if this is out yet - or are there promos lying around. How about the official title. I meant to ask Timo about as I had the fantastic fortune to meet him recently - but my brain liquified and leaked out of my left nostril as soon as I shook his hand. Oh well, gotta work on those people - skills. Shiite - this song............ damn. |

I last mont's Mixer magazine they had a review of it... It is Chemical Brothers and I believe that it's out for sale. Don't quote me though! Look at Mixxer and see what you can find.... PS- Mixer is a GREAT magazine that features parties, DJ's, singles, new releases, etc... it's all about the scene and the artists in it. And no, I don't work for them... it's just a really great magazine!

Hey i was at LL for Timo Maas. He mixed that track up good. It was stuck in my head for a good 2 days after that night.

It began in Afrika ka ka ka Date: Fri, 6 Jul 2001 11:38:14 -0500 ================================================== = MIXMAG BIG TUNES CHART 06/07/01 The Afrika Edition Tasty musical biscuits from http://www.mixmag.net ================================================== = 1. Chemical Brothers 'Afrika: Electronic Battleweapon 5' (Virgin) "Afrika - ka - ka - ka - ka." If you've been to a club in the last few weeks it will have been impossible to miss. We counted six plays at the Gatecrasher Summer Soundsystem! Tough luck if you're trying to get your hands on a copy though, because for now they're only 50 copies in existence. Thankfully there's a proper September release scheduled for this percussive beast. Listen: http://www.ProcessRequest.com/apps/r...EE&oid=UcgjfCC |

I swear I heard that Africa track almost a year ago. I heard it on one of Direct TV's music channels. It was part of some mix CD, but I can't remeber which one. I spent like a week trying to track it down and I couldn't, I was so frustrated! Nice to know it will be finally released though.
