| VELVET ACID CHRIST new album "Lust for Blood" almost done... Velvet Acid Christ's new CD is getting close to completion... Bryan Erickson comments: "Anime art fell through. Worm is doing the art again. Idea this time is cute anime looking real models doing horrid things. So that is the direction now. I have one song to do still + two remixes. This CD is my fav VAC CD to date. In fact I like this more than most everything I have heard in the last 10 years, and I am really picky. The songs are so damn catchy, so epic, musical. The drums are aggressive, some of the bass lines are, too. But over all it has this really musical feel to it. It's the strong lady tron influence. Todd has done about 20% of the music on this one so far. So it's all good. He has made a huge impact for sure. This is a new direction for VAC. The production level is the best I've done so far. Don't fret. It's still dark, and it's still evil." Velvet Acid Christ - "Lust For Blood", so far track listing with Bryan's descriptions: 1: Disconnected Nightmare =disco = daft punky nitzer 2: Discolored Eyes = goth metal 3: Lust For Blood = frantic goth bass driven 4: Psychoactive Landscape = disco = trance 5: Ghost In The Circuit = trip hop 6: Wound, 2nd version = ebm trance 7: Parasite = ebm meets Juno Ractor 8: Machine = old school ebm disco 9: Serious = goth rock... |
