As much as hate to say it, I think he has gone down hill. Maybe not production-wise just like too punk/clash for me. Simulationszeitalter is still one of my all time fav's and I wore little computer people out too. Hacker started the change. It was still good but pop killer was... eehh.

But...

I'm still going to get this though.

The electro album of the year is DMX Krew - Wave CD. Its all over the place. New Wave, atari beats, retro but what makes it are like four or 5 songs that sounds like Arpanet or Jap Telecom x 10.

was about to say that..............he's dope video music director out of Stuttgart Germany. Has done many great videos of underground music.

btw.......anamoly...hit it on the nose for me as well. HIs music has gone a bit downhill because he looks like he's trying to go up a notch in popular music, but he still is one talented mofo.

Simulationszeitalter album is the best in my opinion also. Fucking amazing record.

I thought he had darker skin and had hair. The hair part can change, and the lights in clubs can make you look different. My bad.

Simulationzeitalter and Hacker are my two favorites by him. I've been on a Rother kick for about a month now. Can't get enough of those two.

I don't know. maybe he just set the bar so high with Simulationzeitalter that hacker pales even though it is great and he knew it so he had to try something different.

As much as some of us are afraid of our favorite, for lack of a better word, 'underground' artist one day becomming commericalized it has to happen.

The family is out of town and this thread has me fired up. I am going to start working on a new song. I am going to start off by making all of the drum sounds. I think its a german electro thing. They shit on drum samples. Kraftwerk was doing before drum machines much less samplers.
