my tables hold pitch at '0' but nowhere else, i throw down the same track on both decks and there perfect at 0. i even get the unexplainable flange effect, but when i put them both at +2 or - 2 or whatever, they drift. should i get new tables or do my pitch controllers just need a tune-up? also what are some good tables that 'hold pitch' for around $200 a piece?? thanks Dani_ |

Getting that flange effect with the same slates on both platters means one slate is passing the other. They are not going at the same pitch no matter how precise you think its going. Sounds to me like your pitch slide needs to be zero'd out or tuned. |
