Well i found 2 STR8-50 Stantons and one of them does not spin, everything lights up but thats it. Would it be worth it to buy the tables and get the one fixed? the tables are 69.99 each but the one that doesnt work he siad i could get cheaper. Would it be worth it? Thanks |

cheap turntables are like microwaves - its not worth it to fix em cause theyll just break again and theyre unreliable to begin with. you could learn to scratch and beat juggle on those - but most djs arent too interested in that sort of shit. also you could get real good at fixing beats before they trainwreck (as youll be adjusting the records the whole time cause the tables dont hold pitch) - but seriously you cant learn for more than a month on those things. considering me and my friends spun on crap tables for 2 years and noone around us knew any better - im tellin you will immediately see the difference when you do decide to get technics. personally, you miight consider buying the one for $60 or so jjust to listen to records on so that youlll know them well when you get to fuck around on a friends tables. boof |
