i saw em just the other day, theres a Riton on and a teenagers, and a luke vibert. Not to knock record stores, but this is what I'm talking about, why would i buy a track, when I can get it all for free. |

i still buy the record, esp. simian mobile disco stuff, which I have about 4 remixes or singles. BUT, if I can't possibly get it (i.e. unreleased, 500 made, or i waited 3 wks to get it and now its sold out), i'm not gonna pass up a free download if its a decent rip. Perfect example is Siman Mobile Disco's, Lets Make Love(CSS) remix, that prolly wont be out for a month is floating around. I have all the other CSS vinyl on full lengh(LP, Alala, Lets Make Love), but I have to do the digital thing until I can rip the actual plate. You seen me in action on the record buying thing Scottie. What other dumbass would have bought the full length 'After the Fire' album(in mint cond) for Der Komissar. Yeah, i know I'm addicted. |
