well, yeah. especially then. bt had just made the trip to the UK and collabed with him to complete HOI. no matter what people say about BT, he took that sound and made it both his own and catapulted the sound to what it became. i'll never give anyone the moniker of "inventor of trance" but it mos def has roots with him. so many artists that went on to produce exceptional music all were directly influenced by that sound. i go further back to see where bt's influences were, add em up and there you have it. sasha did the second cd mix of Ima for him. THAT is fucking brilliantly done.
