Headphone connection problem...

My DJ friend pulled out her headphones from the mixer and it kept the connecter piece in the mixer. Now, I am not just talking about the adapter piece that screws into you headphones jack..but the actual plug, leaving NO piece to grab and pull in out. Has this happened to anyone and if so, what to do??

get some needle nose pliers that are small enough to fit the tip inside the piece then open them up and gently pull out the piece left in there.

this happened to me once. I have a pioneer djm-300, I had to open the box up and went to a electronc store and bought a new part and put it in. The little guy I bought only cost about a dollar and maybe 5 min to put it in.

if it was the actual headphone connector that broke off, You may be able to remove the headphone jack and push the broken piece out.
