 | i wanna use my guitar as my midi controller, any ideas?
i really really really want the boss gr20, but that bitch is like 600 bux, the digitech whammy w/midi might work for under 200, but i was wondering if any of you had any other less expensive suggestions that you may have explored? i know there is a cheap casio midi guitar, that might work for my ideas, anyone know where to get one, or something similar? |

i think i was tellin u about my casio dg 20 guitar with the nylon strings. a friend of mine found it for like $20 or $30(an excellent deal) at a thrift store. i just dont have a midi interface for my computer. its pretty cool, but you have to get used to playing it since all the strings are the same thickness of nylon. you should come by and check it out sometime. my only complaint as of yet is that the strings are way too high off the bridge, and hammer on and offs are a little weird. plus side is you never have to tune it. http://cgi.ebay.com/Casio-DG-20-Digi...ayphotohosting
