good deals must be in season, not to brag, but...
i just picked up a pair of perfect 1210mkII's in a badass non-battle style coffin with 19" mixer rack. cd player drawers, amp rack, all on a stand that holds vinyl for $600!!!!!!! i am a very happy camper. and the decks are phat, r-type, spec, kreighton (sp?), ambushdrum, goof, westbound, and elevate can all attest to that. anyway, my point is good deals are in the air right now. ask everybody you see at any record store if they know somebody selling something and you will eventually stumble upon a deal - its what i did.
