and after you get serato. save up and get a ttm 57, and make your life really good. Honestly i think mp3s sound like doo doo(1 outta 10 sound good), but since the majority of people listen to music on little computer speakers and through ipods, it doesn't really matter.

![]() | Torq is greater...
I skimmed this article, so if i repeat I'm sorry. Torq 1.5 is due out in a month or two tops. which brings in key lock, and auto gain. Serato is the best for scratching... No lie. I'm VERY pro Torq, but Serato has almost double the amount of time code, and torq cannot compare. If your like me and don't scratch... or just don't care that serato has double the time code (Which Jazzy Jeff may care about... but we arnt jazzy jeff!) get torq. Florida music company has Torq for 229 bucks.... WAAAAY cheaper. Also, if you buy torq now... you get a free upgrade to torq 1.5. Here are your links... Buy here, free shipping lowest price... good people too! http://www.floridamusicco.com/proddetail~prod~m%2Daudio%5Fconectiv%5F99005185200 .htm Torq 1.5 http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_u...rade-main.html |

i'm quite sure that this guy isn't a business major or has an economics background. just a side note... i have never expected a tutorial for anything i've ever bought at Guitar Center. i've always been a grown up and did the proper research as to what i need and then purchase it.

It may be economically unreasonable to train store personel or have the equipment set up in every store. I don't claim to be a savey economist, but as a consumer it makes perfect sense. If you demonstrate how it works with gear I can put my hands on, I'm more likely to purchase it because I've had a tactile EXPERIENCE. Typically, I've already done my research if I'm at Guitar Center, but that doesn't mean I'm completely ready to commit to purchasing.

and some of the vendors provide free (nfr) copies of stuff to some employees. usually the store too, but we move through our computers like toilet paper and cant keep them in stock. the week after the native instruments guy came and installed all NI products on our imac, we sold that imac (with the NI stuff wiped before it left). that NI guy never came back to our store, and from what ive been told, they dont do regular store visits anymore =\ | |

whoowee when did this turn into a flame war? calm down boys ![]() i love torq. its a great piece of software, the hardware is pretty solid, and its got some good effects and such, my buddy has it and it does everything he could dream. but if you're looking for a professional sound, dont rely on the software, get serato and do some real mixing ![]() both are seriously amazing pieces of software, just depends on where you're looking to go with your sound. |
