When i go laptop i use Traktor scratch. I personally think it's great.. although i dont really use most of it's features... i dont really like fucking shit up with effects or anything. Loops are handy though!

There is only one problem that i have experienced with using traktor..which is product availability. I had a gig out of town where i forgot my control vinyl.. and every shop in austin did not have any that i could purchase so i had to straight laptop that gig.. Serato is used by EVERYONE. So if you ever run into a missing component issue.. you can find whatever you need for it very fast.

A big reason why i personally chose traktor is the sound card. It's small.. very great build quality and has 8 outs + midi. Djing is just a side thing i do for fun so getting two great products out of one package is a +. I use the sound card a lot with ableton.

Took you guys a really long time to get torq vinyl too. Even though plenty copies of the program were in stock.

when i was up at Albertsons i got pissed at them for refusing to show me how to use toilet paper. you would think they could demonstrate the stuff they sell.
