![]() | Kolour Recordings-UNDERTONES03-Sona, Delano Smith, Nacho Marco EP
Coming on the heels of the widely popular 2nd release in our Undertones series, we at Kolour are at it again with a very special offering for Undertones03. This release tures the talents of Dallas, Tx product, Sona. Currently making his home in Taipei, na's roots have always been woven within the fabric of deep house both as a dj and ucer. For his inagural outing with us, Sona hits us with a very moody number that is any and all things deep. To help us compliment Sona's debut, we added the incompreble talents of Detroit deep house legend Delano Smith and the ever-so-smooth touch of none other than Nacho Marco. ![]() SONA ![]() A classical violinist since childhood, Sona has always had a true passion for high quality music. In just 5 years, he has proven to be on a dedicated path to success in the dance music world. His musical versatility has earned him production credits on MTV, and features on Om Records Winter Sessions and the New Sound Theory compilations. Heavily influenced by a wide spectrum of musicians, His production can be deep and soul-soothing or incur rump-shakin dancefloor madness. His music has been charted by the likes of Pete Tong, Johnny Fiasco, Ron Trent, and DJ Heather and Demarkus Lewis. Sona's dj skills have taken him across 3 continents and over 22 different cities. Playing alongside heavy hitters such as Diz Washington, Theo Parrish, and Mr. V. 2008 sees Sona with the launch of his label, Nosa Recordings and releases on Pete Tong 's Bedroom Bedlam label, Headtunes, Kolour, and Dustpan Recordings as well as remixes by the likes of Delano Smith and Nacho Marco of Freerange, OM, Plastic City, Aroma, & Pacha Recordings. YOU WERE THERE - Original Mix - PREVIEW HERE DELANO SMITH ![]() We're very proud to welcome long time Detroit native and legend Delano Smith to the Kolour family. Delano has been in the game for many years and this remix showcases exactly that. It's very reminiscent of that late 90's deepness - fused with some authentic Detroit additives that makes for a prime time pick no matter what the occasion. YOU WERE THERE - Delano Smith Dub - PREVIEW HERE NACHO MARCO ![]() We're also well pleased to welcome Nacho Marco to the Kolour family. Hailing from Valencia, Spain, Nacho Marco's production has been in very high demand these days. With recent production and remix appearences on labels like Freerange, OM, Plastic City, Aroma, Elevation, and Pacha Recordings, it's not to difficult to figure out that Nacho is definitely one to keep your eye on in the future. For our remix, Nacho adds a little more punch .. all the while, maintaining his signature deep feel that fans of all his recent work have come to appreciate from him. This is one that is all left up to the ears to take in so check out the clip below. YOU WERE THERE - Nacho Marco Rmx - PREVIEW HERE Look for this release in about 7-10 days exclusively on Beatport.
