You can also message laddb on here, he works for Crossroads Audio here in Dallas. He can get tables and mixers in both new and used condition.

If you are looking for discount prices on New Technics and Pioneer, you will probably not find them unless you have a connection into the wholesale business.

I have always wanted my own decks for a past time, no desire to be a DJ that plays out and about.....but been around them enough that I know what I am doing....at least at my home and I want to know where I can find a nice set up that will not put me into severe debt......

you can go to Guitar Center or you can go to Crossroads (pm Ladd b) or you can order online which is gonna be your cheapest bet for the most part. Crossroads is the shit for service and is worth a little more (still cheaper than GC)

you said you want NEW technics (2 x $500 plus carts @ about 2x $60 maybe) and a 600 ($900... they discontinued the 500) so that puts you at $1720 before taxes... lol

dont be stupid, check on here and you'll find a set of tables and carts for $500pr easy... 600 for $500 all day and reg mixers all the time for $100-200...

Not sure why everyone has so much sarcasm....just simply wanted to know the best, least expensive place to buy decks and I figured guitar center would be overpriced....plus, you guys must be bad ass dj's since you are on this here board, which means you would know of all the hype spots to buy my gear....

Um, there is no reason to take it as sarcasm...

people who do this for a living get their gear from the same places as others, usually at the same prices...

If you want cheap, check the For sale section here or on craigslist.

Don't expect someone who has worked long and hard to get the deals that they get to offer it to anyone who asked. If we did that for everyone, then it wouldn't be a deal, it would just be the price.

Getting a good price on equipment is not easy, it takes digging and research. Muh of which other people are not going to help you with as they had to do it themselves at one point. Hell I have to do it daily, Its part of how I make my living. If I gave you my price, then I wouldn't make a profit and then I wouldn't make a paycheck.
