Free/Cheap VST's

I recently got a new machine as my last one was wiped. Looking for new VSTs that everyone uses. Free is awesome, but cheap is good too.

lemme know and thanks for your help!

oh and i use Cubase SX3, nord lead2, and a microwave. i currently have little to no effects/compression vst's and Im open for any help in getting me back to wear i need to be!

Can someone throw some premade pc knowledge in this , because i'm not going to make a computer or get one built.

Most likely i'll upgrade hd and memory on my own.

That link for the DB stuff is actually their master limiter. I didn't buy it cause I found a master limiter on one of those free sites.

Here is the one for the compressor/gate. It was really hard for me to find a true sidechain compressor let alone a free one that worked worth a damn. I hated the Sony one that came with Sonar 4 and I couldn't hear the cakewalk compressor do anything. So I bought this and it was worth every penny

if our paths cross I could sort you out a nice pack of VSTs.I pretty much got em all as they say.All the major ones,new ones that are in etc.Im off Greenville Av . If iu want ill burn you some stuff , you must just come pick it up Matt

thanks man. helps a lot. i may end up buying a UAD1 since the prices have come down so far due to the UAD2 being released. their plugins rule. until then this should get me by
