 | one turntable serato..
i've been seeing this out often so the other day i thought about getting a splitter and running the table signal to both serato inputs but then was like, fuck the splitter, i can just loop out of the thru into input 2. works well, i'm sure i'm late on getting hip to this. anybody else do this? discuss or not. |

Its alot easier than using a splitter, Serato has a feature called "instant doubles" which makes this process a breeze. The link above lays it out for you. It works amazing and has saved my ass a few times, Like when one of my Serato disks was scratched to hell and I was burning a new control disk, in the middle of a set, without anyone knowing and without having to stop my set at all. I <3 my serato!

yea thats cool in a pinch, but having to match all your settings on the mixer and do a move with the crossfader is not really ideal to me. i dont even use a crossfader on a mixer. that seem like a feature made for hiphop djs doing doubles that is being used to save you in a situation. looping through makes more since to me cause you eliminate that factor. your sending the signal to both inputs and all you have to do is pop the track into internal and recue the record for the other side.
