Ya'll do realize that Gramaphondzie's track "Why Don't You", which is swing house, is easily one of the biggest tracks of 2009 in all genres. It's been up around #6 on Beatport's overall top 100 for quite some time and been #1 at Stompy longer than any track ever (just finally got knocked out the top spot after nearly 3 months). :P https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/...’t%20You

Get it? Grama-PHONDZIE(as in Fonzy or Arthur Fonzerelli). Fonzy is the one who jumped the shark man!!! There might be some irony in there somwewhere. ![]() You know I'm just playing Matt. I actually picked that track up a few weeks back. And I do realize how huge it is. I don't know how much it's gotten played out since I'm nowhere near a thriving house scene. But I really don't care if it's played out completely, that track is DOPE!!!

bloody beetroots have jumped their shark. and i can almost say it was vandalism. they do lots of stuff like that, where its sounds good once and then you despise it. i have new order mix like that, im still in the 'like it' period, but ive got about 2-3 more times before i hate it.

The trance version of Aly-us "Follow Me" is shark bait for sure...i was appalled to the point of silence when i heard it. As far as One More Time goes....it's also bait for sure. BUT, its kinda what i expected. Daft Punk had to come back big after Homework...and thats what they did. You cant make an lp like Homework and come back soft..or even/especially with a copycat lp. They took the next logical step. Is it bait? Yeah. But they were just playing the game...we know what they CAN do though, which is more important. I remember about a month after the pre-releases of One More Time came out...i remember thinking... "Boy this song is really trying kinda hard to be THAT feel good anthem" and right after i thought that, Mike Constantino says "Is this song suppossed to make me feel good??" LOL, gold.
