its good, but for boots i would try to get the newest pop acapellas you can use and songs that weren't remixes too many times. 'Me and U' was really big in 07 and there were a whole lotta remixes of it.

overall,the production is sounding good and its def. playable out.

Noted. i've always liked the original alot so this was mainly a personal remix.

never heard any remixes to it although i've never really looked for them.

Sounded good and I could play this out, but like Feezy said these pop type tracks have short a shelf-life. Remix that new Miley Cyrus or Britney track and you'll have something current for the SMU girly crowd.

You can actually get away with remixing whatever you like, whenever you like. The only REAL risk you run is a remix of a pop tune that's recently been done to death...and either way the pop crowd will still like it (see: top 40 clubs still playing the same tunes over & over).

I didn't think adult women would like Mylie, but after a ton of request I broke down and bought it. Yep, those bitches all danced and sang the fucking lyrics.

That track does remind me of Kim Wilde's Kids in America, so I think a remix with only the hook could work.

I am not saying it isn't a good remix, by any means, the quality was there.


I think there is a difference in Rusko and someone starting out; Rusko could remix Boy George and people are going to eat it up.

But my Top 40 crowd only likes older Top 40, if it became an anthem type track (ie Kanye Good Life, etc.), but not Katy Perry I Kissed a Girl. That shit got played, beat down, and disposed of. There are differences and you have to know your crowd, just like the dudes that play those crap remixes in the LL's video bar. Most of that 'ish is pure garf.
