on a side note this history lesson is all good n all, but don't act like some of you still don't by records. SUPPORT THE STORES STILL TRYING TO DO IT. Like my homie Booth says even if its just one record a week, you still help the cause. For me to remind people i have no shame, i appreciate everyone who doesn't play vinyl who still sends others our way, it does make a difference,and trust me at this point its not about making me rich, i just love what i do, and that's putting good music in people's hands, plain n simple. its a win/win situation. well you gotta understand i bought the shop, and basically gutted the place. It helped having all that inventory to start right away. Those first 2 years were some unsure times for me, and ended up being the 2 of the best years of my life. Wes is still a good friend, back then when he handled all my orders, he used to just take down my full order, and by friday i'd have $300 worth tunes to pick up. It was easy, no hassle, no bs. Made sense to me to continue the service he gave, and really considering where the biz was headed how could i not have , and expect to be successful.
