That's what I'm learning at the moment. Any tips?

I know I sound pathetic begging for tips. I'm a slave to my EDM addiction.

Re: Help me make music: Part 3

I have a blog post I wrote awhile back. I use mostly the Elektron Machine Drum and Logic's ES1 to make kicks. I have been able to make some really beefy kicks via this method.

Ill look for it but here is a good article in the meantime!

I know how to adjust the ADSR to get a kick, but it's always at a very low volume.
A simple sine wave and resonent filter sweep is a good start! Play with envelope parameters like ADSR to your liking.

This.

Try layering a sine wave with your kick. It's the simplest rather than a saw or whatnot so it will beef up the low end rather than adding too much characteristic.

Sounds like a good idea. I'll give it try.
