 | A few forgotten Deep House Gems from the past...
This used to be a staple in Red Seans' sets at the Fall Out Lounge...I guess its a Dallas "hipster" favorite...  here are a few other goodies... An oldie with Derrick Carter on vocals and one of his first attempts at production: And here are a couple from my favorite DIVA...I never get tired of listening to her vocals: and if you can find this record...BUY IT...the dub doesn't do it any justice...the vocals are SMOKING... it was produced by a chap in Chicago named Marcus Mixx...outside of Luke Sardello I don't think many Dallas people are familiar with his stuff... and here's a classic from a diva from my home town G.I.(Gary, Indiana) that went on to have international fame...she was a featured singer with the group Soul II Soul back in the 90's and she has had some big international dance hits: |
