Brian Eno?

Can anybody shed some light on him for me. I have heard that he helped in "creating" electronica music, dont know if it is true or not.

I know...

that he is the producer for U2... and Im pretty sure he has done work with Sting and David Bowie

but his own albums in the early 70s and 80s were 'electronica' so to speak.

Yes it is true. Brian Eno is known to be one of the "founding fathers" of ambient electronic music and helped the course of evolvment during the late 70s and early 80s. He was tweaking knobs on synths when the rest of the world was rocking out to hair bands and deciding if punk was dead yet. Hes been a huge influence on many of the producers that are rocking dancefloors today.

Just go to http://google.com and type in "Brian Eno" you can find all kids of stuff

FYI, He's not U2's exclusive producer, they have worked with other producers, but he is one of the BEST.

You can thank men like Brian Eno for paving the way for electronic music. Klauze Shulze is pretty amazing stuff too.
