someone out there ONE day will do this and make a lot of money. people are wondering well why aren't the people coming out to support, blah blah. i was talking to fernie one day and he was talking about how it really is entertainment at some clubs in other cities. they have elaborate ass shows... all kind of different rooms and just a completely different vibe. dallas does NOT have any club that can fit into this category. someone will do it one day.. and make a shitload of money though, i'm telling you. its like this.. i dont go out to a club to see dancers and all sorts of wild shit/shows.. BUT if it were available along with dope fucking dj's.. then i know it would be packed even on weeknights. basically it boils down to this.. a big fucking dance floor, some crazy ass dancers.. just straight up entertainment.. 2 levels.. and dope ass sound... you'd leave with an EXPERIENCE on TOP of a dope set.

remember. i was not insulting any dallas clubs. the only one you mentioned that could possibly be in the same frame is village station.. great dance floor... etc. its just i see possibilities... but i am not even gonna say anything else. i better shut up before more people read this and stamp me with unappreciative.

yeh.. SHOULD be... but all these people are asking why the fuck aren't enough people showing up for different shows. things have to GRAB at you and get the peoples attention. fuck an economy... thats bullshit. i'm broke and i always go out. environment is everything.. when you create a place people dont want to leave.. then you'll create a place thats always inhabited.

Two words seperated by a hyphen... Space-Miami That is how their club is set up. You leave there feeling like dallas is just a pothole with muddy water in it after experiencing the vibe in that club.

Until the ECONOMY comes back... clubs are just doing all they can to stay alive... Something elaborate... is very expensive. Even dancers are an added expense (costumes, per hour pay) that most clubs can't afford at this rate. We will have some cute go-go dancers at British Invasion... but that is because some of my friends are being kind enough to help me out... not because we have the cash to spend.

That's why Purgatory was going to be the shit! Too bad they went bankrupt before finishing... it was to be a 4 level club with everything you could ask for and a lot more!

Village is slated to get a remodel in January. I'm pushing to have them close off the side room and make it loungier with a different DJ playing in there. *crosses fingers*
