Yeah, its preety wierd and funny when NIN and a perfect circle came around. Me and my friends were sitting in the lawn watching the show(im not a NIN fan, nut the show was good)When my BEst friend...who was a little on the trashed side....started Jammin out hardcore. He got a little carried away and his beer shot out of his hand and hit some guyin the back of the head. All he did was laugh his ass off and sit down. The guy hit didnt do anything. Wierd part. Almost a whole yr later. Me and my new found friends are sitting in my livign room, when that concert gets brought up. All of the sudden My friend Skylar goes," yeah I rem that concert. That was the concert that drunk motherfucker behind us hit me with a beer" after talking more about the incident. We realized that My best friend hit Sklyar in the head with the beer. Well, I just thought that was damn wierd. Even Wierder. We met Skylar, cuz he was dating Chris's(my best friend) ex-girlfriend. What a small world, huh? |

I can't think of any specific story right off the top of my head. But how could I not participate in the thread I suggested?? Maybe hearing other people's story will get the ball rolling... Just know that Trent is one of the most creative musical geniuses ever. I would argue that if you don't realize his talent, it's because you don't understand it. (Cuz I'm not biased, you know... Yet I will say this...he is a damn good producer and musician. I Just cant dig his shit. Not talking shit about the guy....so dont bash me. |

Typical that the dvd got delayed... Hell I had prepaid for a copy of Closure on DVD that was supposed to come out last month and it got delayed indefinatly ... If Trent ever put something out on time, it would be the end of NIN .... As for stories ... I've got too damn many (I think I've seen them live about 7 or 8 times now) ... I'll start by saying I have ALMOST every release out on vinyl including all the promo's, however, I don't give a damn about wether my Head Like A Hole was a UK version or a Australian version ... but for the most part, I have a respectable vinyl collection that would fetch a pretty penny on ebay ... Speaking of which, if anyone has any NIN vinyl on here they want to get rid of, let me know what it is ... wes

Actually, I'm looking for a vinyl. On "A Tribute to NIN: Re-Covered in Nails, there is a SWEET remix of "sin" (track 2) that I would kill for. Does anyone know if it was ever pressed to vinyl or am I just going to have to get a dub? I'd really appreciate any help.

Damn, this thread has my name all over it. At the NIN show, i was right behind the pit and i jumped in behind my friend. I got picked up and thrown 20 feet by some big motherfucker but oh well. Not really a funny story but its all gravy. I have all the releases on vinyl but i don't have many promos. If any of you have heard of Weathermen Records in Farmer's Branch, thats where I work. We sell aot of the old NIN shirts aswell as other bands around them like Coil, Meat Beat Manifesto, Amen, Marilyn Manson, and more. My boss even has Trent's home nuber and Nothing Record's number in his spindex thing. Our shirts are usually 16.99 on the net, but if you come into our store in person and tell my boss you know me, you'll get'em for 12.50 or so. We also have a big ass selection of punk shit. Its nice seeing that alot of you guys are also into NIN (prolly as much as i am). I'm thinkin about sportin my NIN shirt @ Meltdown3. Anyhow, come by and check out our shit and say hi. www.theweathermen.com

right on ... i've bought several things from weathermen over the last couple of years ... speaking of which ... i pre ordered that closure DVD from you guys, but since it didn't get released, I'm assuming you didn't charge my credit card right??? I guess I should pay more attention to those statements each month.... hehehe I'll have to drop by the store sometime ... I never knew it was a "real" store ... thought it was just online, but I knew you were close by ... peace

Seen Trent 4 times... the most incredible live show I've seen!!! The Downward Spiral- probably my second favorite cd, beginning to end, of all-time... Sport a tattoo of the SIN logo on my right arm... testament to the mayhem that is life. john*phunk enpratured |
