| cubase SX ?
I just got cubaseSX on my comp. and after installing it I try to open it and I get an error message saying "error, No protection device connected. connect device and click ok to retry" I am running it off of windows xp if that helps. and i dont know much in computer terms. If anyone could help, please PM me and let me know what to do. Clint Edword |

sounds like you are using a cracked copy... there isnt really any tech support for a pirated/illegal copy of software my advice would be to: a. learn that you can download a trial version of winrar or b. buy a legal copy (in which the latter comes with a nifty little usb dongle that doesnt require you to install cracks and dongle emulators) BTW. Im finally making enough money that I can buy SX upgrade for myself... (I notice that I'm saving money now that I have left the crappy DFW area - maybe just coincidence) J |

go to www.rarsoft.com and download winrar it will do the job of uncompressing that file. and if you like the software and have the cash, please support these companies! if we don't then they wont be around for long. |

believe me, If I could of afforded it, I would have just bought it. I have never really used any producing programs so I just really wanted see what it was like before I started investing money into it. and these downloads took me almost two days which is a huge pain in the ass. thanks for the help, we'll see if it works. |
