looking to get a new soundcard - Dallas Dance Music - Dallas nightlife, music, tickets, and more

here's what im runnin, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated:

running cubase sx on a dell dimension p4, xp platform. currently using a 4in/4out midiman (usb connected). using only two external midi devices, roland rs5 as a controller, and an emu ulta 7500 sampler, also, adding an analog synth.

i'm looking for something that will allow me to add/subtract devices. this new card doesn't have to incorporate the 4/4 midiman, just want the best option for my setup in sound and performance....

lemme know what you guys think, money is not a big deal, but i don't want to open another mortgage payment....

a great multichannel IO solution that support multiple digital standards (ADAT, TDIF, etc) as well as analog in/out.

I've gone thru a bunch of soundcards (more than most people)

i've had the Delta 44 to the Lexicon Core 2 and so on...

if you are serious about production and don't have a shitload of $$$.

i TOTALLY recomend the MOTU I/O's!!!

all their shit is great!

i've used the 828, 2408, & 896
all are great... just find one in your price range.

i'd stay away from the Delta's - they act up quite a bit.
