I caught the end of his "exclusive mix" Nice stuff, especially that last song! Would have been even cooler with him live in the studios, but I sure as hell am not complaining!

Does anybody know how this came about? And more importantly, does anybody have a track listing???

It was nice to hear a trance set that wasn't track after track of anthem epic crap. There were a couple tracks I didn't like, but for the most part he picked quality tracks. Once again PvD shows how things should be done.

it was definatly last minute thing. he had sent that mix this past week. I was planning on running it at a later date, but eddie halliwell (2 minutes before going live) decided that he wasn't "prepared" to play live on the radio. so let the stress begin.

so as i said on the radio- we decided to go with a 'lesser known dj' that's proud to play on Dallas radio.

i think the reason eddie didn't want to spin live is because he doesn't want his sets recorded..it is close to impossible to find live sets of his. but i wouldn't really care to hear his anthem trance anyway.

i believe it's actually a contractual breech for eddie to have any sets recorded. and jason, he's from anthemy trance.

If he simply didn't want his set to be recorded (or if it was a breach of contract for him to play on the radio), then why would he have agreed to it and then backed out at the last minute?

I don't know any of the details about this issue, so I'm not bashing the guy...

but it does sound a little shady

Sounds like pretty amateur-ish behaviour to me... however, I've heard a lot of people that purport to be amateurs really put it down on Edgeclub... so it sounds to me like the guy's just a flake, or maybe hes prematurely invoking the "DJ Demigod calls the shots" career move. Maybe he would have been more comfortable with a live studio audience for whom to perform the Jesus pose, who knows? Another disposable eurotrash DJ bites the dust (in my book anyway). Give me Paul van Dyk over that shit anyday.

good dj- not knockin that- just his primadonna attitude about playing on dallas radio. so sorry i'm not Pete Tong and this isn't Radio One.

what's done is done- i'm over it. but I really hate attitudes like this when there are plenty of world famous dj's happy to play on our airways.

y should we care what karen thinks? she's got her opinion and we have ours. the fact is Eddie was offered the privilege to spin live on the radio to thousands of people and he flat out refused..for no particular reason.
