| CHIT! | ? for Hip hop dj's regarding an online store.
anyone else ordered from www.sandboxautomatic.com and have their order take like over a month to get proccessed and sent to you? I had ordered stuff like around the 20th last month, my card charged on feb 5th, then i called wondering where the fuck my records were and just now had them sent on the 18th. Anyone else used this place and had them take that long?

i've waited up to 2 weeks for orders from sandbox. if i don't have what i ordered within a week of ordering it, i call them. they're pretty bad about communicating. chances are records you ordered weren't on hand .. so they just hold your order until they get 'em.

Never had problems before. But that situation does suck to be in, especially when the records you waited for come in warped. Try http://www.turntablelab.com. Always great service, only downfall is that records go out of stock rather quickly. Respect. Peace. Hex |

is for buying those tracks that are essential party rockin shit, well the hip hop part. if you want some underground hit sandbox, if you want some funk and soul hit up dustygroove.com. sandbox is alright, but they are basically fat beats so expect underground shit, they best thing to do is get a few things on-line and get some shit at the store. if you are trying to learn to spin hip hop, just grab instrumentals and try beat matching, get that down first then learn to chase, double up and simple juggling. get to the point where you don't have to play an entire song before the next one comes, once you can mix then move on to skratching, check www.asisphonics.com, they have a tutorial called "the ever", learn basic cuts and stay away from "crabs" till you get the basics first. hip hop isn't easy to mix, simply because its not made to mix like other forms of music, good luck. peace. marvel -instinct
