![]() | The Birth of a New Genre!
I have completed my newest masterpiece, a riviting dance anthem in the tradion of true TEJANO TERROR TRANCE that has been spoken of here many a time. "Terror de mi Amor" has been called "Riviting," and "A triumph of the human spirit!" by expert critics around the world** Unfortunatly, Geocities won't let me direct link the song, so you'll first have to click on my awesome artist webpage to download...don't worry, it's pretty short and you don't have to sign up for anything. http://www.geocities.com/mystikgohan2/terror Thank you for downloading the song. I'll make sure and remember you when I get famous.*** **"Experts" include my mom and my imaginary fans. ***Actual remembering may or may not take place. "Getting famous" also may or may not happen. ~Evan

Yeah, I actually did the vocals myself based on what I remember from high school spanish class. I think I gave a pretty convincing accent for a white boy. I also did some eq and pitch shifting to make it sound more scary. Quote:
1.Slack off as much as possible. If it means you have to mooch off others, even better. 2.Use lot of big, intellectual words so that stupid people will think you're really smart. It doesn't really matter if you use them correctly or not. Example: "What a spontaniously scrupulous extracurricular dj set!" 3.Act all angsty and pretend to think that everything sucks. This will make you seem more "hardcore" Well that's it for now..glad to hear you guys liked the song...belive me, it took dozens of minutes of work to finish! ~Evan

You are just jealous of J-lew's rugged approach to this artistically demanding genre. What you have tried to dish out in hours J-lew has been avidly persueing for a decade. He has set the standards you are so quickly ripping off, you should be ashamed... |

I don't have any good accordian sounds! I was going to at least put some mariachi brass in there, but my friend has my synth with all my good acoustic sounds... hm..can we say, "Extended Latin Mix comming soon??" Perhaps...

The history behind that genre resides with a friend of mine. He's only moderately interested in electronic music, and thinks the 80,000 subdivisions are really funny and unnecessary. So, while drunk, he said something about wanting to hear tejano terror trance, and I thought it was funny as hell, so I brought it over here. Ask him sometime about his now defunct Austin Gabbapella Choir.
