Beth Gibbons (Portishead) and Paul Webb's (Talk Talk) debute: ‘Out of Season’

Beth Gibbons, the voice of Portishead, and Paul Webb aka Rustin Man, the bass player of Talk Talk, have just delivered their debut collaboration 'Out of Season', which is due out on October 7 on Sanctuary Records. This album has already been praised as a genuine masterpiece with melancholic and passionate melodies that belong to the Autumn season, but without the acclaimed triphop and electronic sounds.

The two have been friends ever since Beth auditioned for one of Paul's projects, even before Portishead came together. Following Portishead's last tour, one conversation led to another and the project 'Out Of Season' became a reality.

The album also contains guest contributions from their respective band members: Adrian Utley (guitar, co-production) of Portishead; drummer Clive Deamer and pianist John Baggott from Portishead's live band, drummer and percussionist Lee Harris and guitarist Simon Edwards from Talk Talk.

Out Of Season was mixed by Phill Brown (Spirit Of Eden - Talk Talk, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix). In support of the album, the pair will embark on a US Tour shortly and have already given exclusive UK performances to much acclaim.
