just depends on what you plan on using it with all the NI programs rock! NI = Native Instruments They also have some great vintage stuff like the b4 and fm7 which emulate the hammond b organ and the dx7 keyboards. the have a wikkid vokotor and awesome hybrid plugins.. you could also try atmosphere but it is like a 6 gig install.. the demo is insane to download.. you using cubase, logic, dp4, or protools to lay your midi down? anyways.. steinberg has some kewl synths too just depends on what your looking for.

since its a poll i would have to say the arturia moog modular V and NI absynth 2, those are my favs for everyday stuff. max/msp rules the roost when it comes to the experimental and my sequencer of choice is SX2. |
