Just messin with ya merrit...I work with optics and as I understand it there are three grades of alcohol. Isopropyl is the worst and dirtiest, Methyl alcohol is cleaner and ethanol is the best and cleanest. As far as I know the cleanliness of the alcohol is only critical when cleaning fiber optics we use isopropyl on all electrical connections because it is cheaper and stuff.

Yeah those MDV-700s. I've seen like 8 people with the same part broken on them, they're great headphones don't get me wrong, but made like they were produced in Calcutta or something.

Hey guys, we are going to have a "How To" section in our new music magazine and it will feature questions and answers like, How to get a demo, How to get copywrited, How to find the right gear (DJs of course) etc.... I would love to hear input on what you guys would want in that section. The magazine is called Music Ink. Anyone need coverage? call me at 214-824-4137.

my 1200 drags, and I heard it was because of a magnet inside the deck. did j tell you what was wrong with yours when he fixed it? how much did he charge you?
i know time is money and i hear he is usually busy.

Oh and by the way, I bought them in Germany so they are 210 volts (I have convertors).

Any idea where I can go to get em fixed?
the 210 voltage will cause the shit to blow up and cause static unless you buy the right kind of converter.

These guys are awesome:

CAE Sound

I have taken a number of synths and drum machines there over the years. They do excellent work. Highly recommended. A++.

I'm gonna need my tables looked at when I get back, one needs to be repaired because i lost the right channel, and no its not the needles. I'll definatly look up jay.

And a fix for those sony's if you figure 8 a ziptie around the broken part near the swivel, it pulls it back together and works almost like new. (one reason I like my Technics headphones)
