Depends on what you like. The best needles hands down are the Shure M447 or 477 (can't remember). A lot of people don't like that style though. They are the carts attached to the turntable headshell. my fav are the blue and orange/red ones. trulyone, squiky ^_^ but i usually don't like to share. squiky likes to keep it clean.

i've always used ortofon concorde with the nightclub needle. But lately i've been trying out the stanton trackmasters and they're not too bad, esp for the price. They're a bit heavier than what I'm used to by once you get used to that its not so bad

I've had bad experiences with Trackmasters. Mostly when you reach the end of a long track as the needle gets really far inside close to the label it will start jumping. It just cannot stay in the groove that far into the record. My Ortofon Concordes have never had that problem.
