![]() | ACID dj help?
anyone know how to change notes in ACID dj? For instance if i have a bell i want to play at one note, how do i make the next one three notes lower or whatever? anyone with exp would be greatly appreciated. Ive used the up and down semitone function, but it seems to stretch the sample which causes trainwrecks.

Plus you can use it as a real sequencer with VST support when you're ready to "grow up". Except it's a pretty steep entry cost for a beginner. I think that Acid 4.0 (not Professional) is ~$70. Ableton Live 3.0 is $299 at best. Of course, Ableton does SO much more! Ableton's website is www.ableton.com (If you qualify, you can get an educational license for $199. Sweet.) Personally, I've heard some dope shit made on the crappiest of software, so its all a matter of using what you have until you find you need more. Too much stuff is confusing, especially when you first try production. From experience!!! | |
