Straight out of Austin, live music capitol of the world, the Table
Manners Crew (TMC) has been rocking the local hip-hop scene for the
past year-and-a-half. By blending their individual tastes and styles
DJs Tats, Dirty Harry and Digg have been delivering crowd-pleasing
sets that incorporate everything from the grimiest underground grooves
to the funkiest party-bangers. As one of the local scene's only DJ
crews to incorporate the 2x4 set-up (two DJs and four turntables),
TMC's weekly Saturday night gigs at Plush have become widely regarded
as mandatory events for all hip-hop aficionados. During a relatively
short tenure they have turned many heads, including mentions and
feature articles in numerous publications and an increasing number of
guest DJs such as Austin heavyweights Nick Nack, DJ Mel, and Chicken
George as well as NYC's Kool Akiem. Now with Scion's Best 2x4 Mix
Award under its belt, the crew continues to make moves by taking their
buzz into the studio to work on an EP and a mix CD release. For more

They sure do! I've been performing and producing hip-hop for over 15 years with world class artists and these cats impressed me like few others have. I was on vacation and stumbled onto these guys @ Plush and it took me 15 minutes before I was sold on them. After winning the Scion National 2x4 mix championship the international scene took notice... and yet again TEXAS has unearthed another gem. I cant wait!


If you think Chicken George, Nick Nack and Ali Shaheed Muhammed were good (and they are good!)... I rate these cats on their same level if not higher.

This will be the first time Zubar has had HipHop as the focal point for a NYE party EVER!!! It says alot for Ray and the staff as well as the fact we are bringing one of the dopest underground acts to hit the national scene. Dallas will witness the next big thing on NYE. These guys are very humble in their approach and props to them. Also, what better place to be than Zubar when you can get the best of both worlds (Hiphop and House).
