There's no sex in the Champagne Room. There is, however, some heavy petting, dancing, and kissing between Lindsay Lohan and new gal-pal Kate Moss. Last night at Scores, the infamous strip club in the Upper East Side, Lohan and Moss did their best Showgirls impression, turning on an astonished crowd of onlookers. Drunk, the two ladies of high society stumbled into the Champagne Room around 2:45, according to the NY Post. They did vodka shots. They did raspberry Kamikazes. (Raspberry Kamikazes? Really? I can see this from tart Lindsay Lohan, but Kate Moss? Have a little dignity, honey.) A witness told the Post: ""Kate was going wild. After a few songs, Lindsay jumped on stage with her. They were swinging on the pole with their arms around each other's waists, kissing each other, caressing each other, just acting like strippers. The crowd was cheering them on the whole time. They didn't take off any clothes, but it was very hot." Too bad this didn't happen a year ago, when Lindsay had the proper qualifications to be a stripper. Breasts, say.
For Moss, this is just the latest in a string of girl-on-girl nightlife encounters. In September, British tabloids reported that, "The model reportedly becomes wildly sexual during cocaine-fuelled parties, and has orchestrated a number of lesbian romps with friends including actress Sadie Frost and British TV star Davinia Taylor." The fallout from Scores? The next morning, gawker brings us this lovely statement from Lindsay: "The tweaked-out, drunken faux-lesbian dancing I performed for Kate Moss was misused and misconstrued, and I’m appalled with the way it was done." Now, not to nit-pick Lindsay's statement, but isn't this statement a touch bizarre? Apparently she has no regrets, per se, about the "tweaked-out, drunken faux-lesbian dancing." But she objects to the way it was "misused." Um, okay. And by "appalled with the way it was done," maybe she was simply appalled that even though they were dancing on a poll, they disrespected the venue's etiquette by keeping their clothes on. Appalling indeed. -Jeff Wilser Link To Original Article |
