There's a lot of pressure at New Year's.

Pressure to find the right party. The right dinner. The right person to make out with at midnight. (And don't get stuck with that troll with the hairy shoulders. I don't care how much Moet you've slurped.)

Luckily for you, we've done all the homework.

At NewYears.com, Clubplanet's sister site, we've rounded up the hottest parties across the globe. You'll find parties in New York and parties in Wisconsin. Yep. Apparently people do party in Wisconsin. Who knew?

If you don't get tickets soon, they'll be gone. Also, the longer you wait, the more expensive the tickets get. Promoters are no fools. They know that a ticket on 12/30 is much scarcer than on 12/13, so it might cost twice as much. Buy now, or your New Year's party will be looking like those dudes on the right.

NEW YORK

Home/Guesthouse

The playground of celebs like Lindsay Lohan, Ashley Simpson, Nick Lachet and Jeremy Piven, this ticket gets you into two clubs for the price of one. With catered d'oeuvres and a six hour premium open bar.

Bryant Park Grill

Do it for the breathtaking views of Bryant Park and the ice skating rink. For the culture. For the smooth, opulent pampering. Okay, who are we kidding. Do it for the 6 hour hour open bar.

Lotus

Urban Asian dinner stations and passed hors d'oeuvres throughout all three floors. Premium open bar including Veuve Clicquot champagne. Disco balls, lanterns, and costumed servers. A wide selection of VIP tables.



Webster Hall

Z-100 Broadcast w/DJ Spinbad, and Red Carpet Performing Live. 18 and over. Also, if you don't want to go out until after the ball drop, check out their afterhours option. 4 floors, bag pipe orchestra at midnight, and a flying trapeze, to boot!

Jonathan Peters at the Roseland Ballroom

Jonathan Peters. In concert. Anything else you need to know? How about this: the party is for twenty four hours. 24 Enough time for Jack Bauer to save the world three times over. Numerous VIP packages available, including a 10-person package that includes your own security guard, your own waitress, and 10 JP t-shirts.

Crobar

Crobar does Las Vegas. With State-of-the-art light and stage shows, acrobats, and showgirls. They even have their own Celebrity Wedding Chapel should the mood strike you.

MIAMI

Mansion

Live Performance by The Bravery and DJ AM. Wilmer Valderrama hosts with Nicole Richie. Also a 3 hour open bar.

Space

With featured DJs Cedric Gervais, Ivano Bellini, Lazardi, Affect, and Ariel. Open bar and champagne from 9pm until midnight.

Crobar

Hosted by VH1's My Fair Brady stars Adrianne Curry and Christopher Knight. If that's not enough, come for Hawaiian Tropic Finalist & upcoming Playboy model May 2006 Oona O'Connell. For the ladies, the Miami Firefighters will be promoting their 2006 Calendar.

Tao

It's already the hottest club in Vegas. Hands down. But if that wasn't enough, the party is hosted by Paris Hilton. With an open bar from 9pm - 11pm and selections from the Tao Asian Bistro menu.

Tiesto @ Orleans

Tiesto, signature Tiësto LED surrounded DJ booth, three story LED wall, more than 30 performers, aerial acts, Butoh Dancers, Samba and Taiko drummers, flying Geishas, singers and Carnival showgirls, and a massive pyrotechnics and special effects show.

Light

With live musical performances, dancing displays, and a champagne toast at midnight. But this is no "Andres" champagne. The party is sponsored by Dom Perignon. Cheers to that.

Ice

Superstar DJ's in both the Arena and the Hip-Hop room. The Lost Boys, DJ Rap, Dave Aude, Michael Fuller, Faarsheed, DJ Scene, and Mark Stylz. Could be the best place in Vegas to capital-D-dance.

Empire Ballroom

The 1st annual "Fetish & Fantasy New Year's Eve Spectacular." Um, I'm sold.

OPM

Erotic go-go dancers, DJ Kid Capri, giant video countdown, Confetti cannons, a 10,000 balloon drop at the stroke of midnight, complimentary champagne, and thousands of dollars in giveaways.

LOS ANGELES

Renaissance Hollywood and Grand Ballroom

You might have heard of this place. It's the home of the Academy Awards and Governors Ball. For New Year's they have a gourmet dinner catered by Wolfgang Puck, a Vegas style casino, burlesque shows, body painting artists, Cirque Du Soleil Style Aerialists, fire dancers, and 2006 fortune tellers.

Giant Village

You're invited to a small, intimate gathering of you and your 20,000 closest friends. Included in these friends are Deathcab for Cutie, The Black Eyed Peas, The Mutaytor, The Crystal Method, Adam Freeland, and John Digweed...just to name a few. Incorporating six blocks, it's the West Coast's signature large-scale New Year's celebration.

Avalon

An elegant three course dinner, Sander Kleinenberg, and generous VIP packages that offer unlimited open bars.

OC Fairgrounds

The first annual Orange Drop: several themed entertainment and food pavilions, with live performances from Sugar Ray, Joan Jet and the Blackhearts, Violent Femmes, The Psychedellic Furs, The English Beat, Berlin, Bow Wow Wow, Reel Big Fish and more.
