Yes. It's not even Halloween. It's not even Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Hanukkah. Apparently, though, it's never too early to rev up the New Year's hype machine.

Paris Hilton and Carmen Electra are already negotiating appearance-fees for potential parties in New York, Miami, and LA. Paris demands $100k, Carmen $50k. So when you buy your New Year's party tickets, know that the proceeds are going to a good cause. Where else is Carmen Electra going to find work?

And yes, this really is early to be talking about New Year's. Then again, it's sorta not. Clubplanet headquarters is also NewYears.com headquarters, and we're shocked--shocked--by how early everything is getting started this year. Take New York. Clubs like Marquee, Cain, Capitale, Roseland Ballroom, yada yada have already posted their party listing.

So why bring it up now? Well, these party promoters are evil-geniuses. They know that the closer we get to New Year's, the more desperate you become for a good party, so the more they jack up the prices. Basic supply and demand. The good news is that the tickets are available now…and cheap.
