Insomnia is open every weekend and has been going strong for over a year and a half now. Longer than any other afterparty place in Dallas. Had over 800 peeps there this last weekend.

Is it true you dont play there anymore?
If so, what style of music are they playing?

they play mostly breaks(raydar,shaolon) and trance(ragman). always liked it when Juice opened it up though. first time i ever went about a year ago, was the first time i saw juice, raydar and shaolin. went out and bought some tables a week later!

I still play there occassionally. Cary (Ragman) will ask me to play about once a month to mix things up a bit. I keep my style pretty much on the Dutch tip (Trance wise that is) and let the Breakbeat brothers keep it their way and Cary do his thing. Cary has been spinning some mad Techno as of late, which the crowd doesn't really seem to get....if they only knew what kind of Dope ass tracks he was throwing down, they would catch his drift. I've been very impressed with Cary when he spins Techno, very forward thinking in his sets and very current in his selection.

As far as me playing there everyweek.....no I don't anymore. I was getting burned out on the crowd and the constant barage of requests for absolute trash ("milkshake", "The Launch", "Zombie Nation", etc., ) But the crowd responded in a very bent way to the tracks I threw down last week. We all had a great time. But i do spend most of my weekends in my studio working on tracks when I'm not playing.

BTW, I'm Playing there this weekend.
