Air

the show was fantastic.. i even liked the opening band, Mosquitos.

but the most surprising part of the night had nothing to do with Air specifically... the drummer that they had was Earl Harvin... whom is from Dallas.. and i believe he is THE Earl Harvin Jr as in the Earl Harvin Jr Trio.. and he is THE most badass drummer.. i havent gotten it confirmed yet if they are one in the same... but i am 99.9% sure it is... you gotta check this guys music out because its off the hook crazy badass style

and the keyboardist that Air was using was also from Dallas.. still trying to find out who he is exactly... he was pretty great too

oh and during the last song i was half expecting jim morrison to pop up and sing 'light my fire'

great lighting too at the show

yea the concert was badass.... esp the drum ending on the last song... damn! I think he took over the show at the end... I dunno tho, I think that was a korg ms - 10 one of the guys from Air was using... one solo was badass. It started out with this moog sounding underlining groove... then he just was all over that korg like a donkey eating pancakes... oh man drool. good show!

the drummer, Earl Harvin, is the same drummer as i was thinking of... its Earl Harvin the badass jazz drummer from Dallas who has released several albums under the Earl Harvin Trio

you gotta check those albums out if you dug this guys drumming!!

i read reviews that said the lights were shining in their eyes and were basically ripping the light show

i was down front.. in the standing area... and the lights from there looked fantastic.. i liked how they were very simple

but i'm sure if you were up above and the lights were in your eyes that would've sucked
