All I have to say, IMO, was that the guy who won 1st place shouldn't have won. the only reason he won, IMO, was that he scratched for like 5 seconds with his shirt over his head..DJ Spiderman should have won that shitz...much disappointment......anyone else?

That would be ironic if the hosts' DJ won. Quote:

DMC's weren't bad. But where was the sensationalism? THe first few were about trying to push the fold a little, then it went to the joke and gag reel that was Frantik (which I was digging, because of the WAY he did it). The Black guy before was rocking it out as well. We then went to the technical portion of the contest, when the Hispanic guy in the blue shirt decided to take it up a notch (playing the record backward for his closing minute while throwing the beat in). The following cat let his fear get the better of him. While it was COOL to play "Bingo" the children's song, he didn't do too much scratching on anything. He just blended records. Wrong comp to just just play records, bro. Fast forward. Vanilla Ice just had fun. To sit on stage in a HOT ass suit for 15 minutes then play what he did gets props in my book. BTW, Spiderman's crew semi got clowned when he started playing MSM's "Conga". He was rockin it out propa. FAST FORWARD. Spiderman and Nemesis. No bad ass tricks. No sensationalism. Just two guys doing their best Mixmaster Mike impersonation. Spiderman rated a little bit better in my book due to his use of Dallas vocals, Wu Tang 36 Chambers quote, and "mostly" flawless performance. If Nemesis had tried to bring in something less abstract musically, I think he would have done better. But as I always say, I'm not a DJ. WTF do I know? Last note: To those who booed last night. DMC is next year. If you can do better, then do it. I didn't see you on stage in front of people trying to do a 6 minute performance of all your best. Haters.

Frantic had a nice CLEAN routine and he looked cool and collective while doing it.

I was very suprised to hear that KIKO did not win last night. I have seen this dude on videos and live at the ATPT battle that he won about a year ago. Dude is fuckin sick! It's really hard to believe that he did not win DMC with his juggling and cutting skillz..... DJ Groove |
