WOW.

Without question, one of the best nights this week. A chance to say hello and goodbye to Annesta (Rufuspfunk, hihihihihi), say hi to Boo, Alvin (Steely Dan as disco??? Only because it's you, pfffft), E-Tripple, Demarkus, Juan, and a lot of other friendly faces (some that I hadn't seen since Red Jacket's closing).

Back bar, nice hip hop with a relaxed chill. No haters, no fronters, and no bs.

Marques Wyatt. Phenomenal. I think there was a problem with the needle or the stand (because a few records were off pitch or were bumped ((or it could be that the floor was so crowded that people kept bumping into the damn thing)) ). Either way, there was nothing but a positive vibe going on.

I'm left to wonder one thing. Who does that track with the vocal "I wonder, wonder, wonder, wonder whooooo. . ." Forgive my soulful naivete.

Wow... I came really late. I wasn't even going ot make it because I was sooo sick from Wednesday night at crave.

I finally made it at 1:00am and DAMN people were dancing sooo hard. I loved seeing Alvin and dancers go off on the dancefloor like that. It was a killer vibe! It was packed! It was good to meet some new peeps too! (Hi Rufus!)

Did anyone see Rob from Minc dancing on the bar top?

Now when you have another barkeep dancing on the bar during an event like Marques Wyatt, then you know somebody was doing something right...This night was an absolute blast I had so much fun dancing that I had to keep sitting down to rest or I had to go outside for more dancing space...I wish I would have gotten there earlier to hear more of Alvin's Disco set...but what I heard of it already had me shaking my ass way before Marques got onto the decks...

Fucking needles or the CD really fucked with my buzz...eventhough, it was only a buzz from dancing and not from anything else...seriously, this time I mean it...

can't wait for tonight another OM records set, by Kaskade, and then Mark Farina...those OM guys are good!...Where's the emoticon for :golfclap:

that would be Brent aka Dj Kamua(the bald headed one) and DJ TY from Chi(the one with the locks) holding it down with the "beats round back". They have developed quite the groupie following...while they were packing up records and equipment these three hot mamas were making small talk...u know yada...yada...yada...type stuff. One of them hops in Kamua's car(subtle hint perhaps )...seems she wanted a "larger" sampling of DEEP CHOCOLATE!!!
