Last night at CRAVE was the hotness.. .. .. really it was when Wendy broke out that really good shot. The paint bucket drummer was on point and the breaks outside was a very nice touch to complete a really great night.

I thought the breaks were the best I've heard in weeks outside. Dance music dudes were playing vinyls hard like rave style.

Also, I thought that the drummer dude was a little off when accompanying the DnB? Maybe it was just me though. Anyway, I had a really good time per usual. It was good seeing everyone, especially my hooker, Sarah. It's been a minute, hasn't it? | |

I do not think that the bucket drummer was on point. In fact, I think he was way off point. It's one thing to make your own beats out on the street, without distraction; that sounds great. But it's a whole other thing to try and drum along with tunes that you don't know. Beats change often, and with buildups and breakdowns, it would be hard to keep up and sound good, especially if you aren't familiar with the tracks. Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the guy's talent. I'm just saying that DnB and breaks don't really need a drummer. There's already so much going on in both genres (including drums already in the tracks) that he was a little overwhelming. Otherwise, the musics were badass. ETech and Phooka were fuckin rockin inside, and I don't even have to mention how I the Dance Music Dudes. It's too bad that the bums have found out about Tuesdays at Crave, though. I was accosted almost every time I so much as glanced out toward the parking lot. One guy even told me I HAD to buy a flower. I thought their schtick was to give the girl a flower and then try to trick the guy into buying it. They're not even trying anymore.
