B-Luv threw down a great set...funky, chunky, and full of ass shaking goodness!  :Also gotta give shouts to: Kelsey, I just caught the end of his set but it was breaks madness  Code Blue, working the deep prog feeling  Pibb, tore it up for about two hours  DJ One, had a few technical difficulties during his set (not his fault), aside from that it was banging  Cubano and Mxmind, great set....I especialy like the part where Armando mixed into a record and then stoped it....

Cool night.. I have a good feeling about that place. Cubano sounded really great(sorry for being an asshole bro..for real).lol..You know you're roking it when you got Codeblue jumpin out of his chair! Pibb was rockin some shit out outside also! Who was that guy playing the pumpin house outside BTW? I was running on 4 hours of sleep from the previous 48 hours so I barely hung in there, but I might go check it out again tonite. Thanx Joe! Turnout was a little lighter than I had expected, however it was a Friday and apparently it was slow everywhere. I heard LL, One, and a few other places all closed early last night. Those of us that were there were having a good time tho...

I had a great time last night! good people, good vibe I caught sets by Bigesoul and Hecto, Scan and Scy, Jester, B-luv, One, Codeblue, Mxmind and Cubano....and everybody played great sets. Some definite diversity in sound. I appreciate the chance to play along side some great djs. Nice to see my breakbeat bruv, Tessai. Glad I got a chance to kick it with you and WhIco. Oh, and peeps need to check out the cd booth, don't sleep on some serious local ish.

Man, what a pleasant change of pace to see all forms of dance music represented at Afterlife!!! Its been a while since I've seen so much talent and diversity at any event, much less an afterhours venue. I got to check out a ton of DJs I've only heard about on here. People like Kelsey, CodeBlue, and whomever was playing the bangin techno inside were all fucking sick. This techno guy inside was rockin doubles, yes doubles, to techno. He was beat juggling that shit!!! I think it was One (not sure)?? I had a blast and thanks to everyone who enjoyed my funk in the trunk.
