Sickness...relentless set. Everyone there agreed it's on of the best we've seen. If you are into trance and you missed this show...go ahead and start kicking yourself now. The Sky bar was a fantastic place to see him as well, banging system, "intimate" dance floor area, and multi-level so you could chill if you wanted. I also got to say hi to Disco Donnie, he was very cool.

Paul van Dyk rocks! He's my absolute favorite DJ and I love his production work. I wish I could have been there, but I had to work this morning! I just couldn't make the trip. So was it more of a hard trance set, or did he still spin a lot of the melodic, uplifting trance he's so well-known for?

He played a combination of melodic and harder stuff, with the harder/techy sound dominating the majority of the evening. The transition from one to the other was flawless tho, he put tracks together that I never would have thought of. There were even a few breaks tracks thrown in as well....very nice.

Not what I was expecting from PVD. I wish that I could've shaken his hand and apologized for the crowd he was playing for. A bit disappointed

austin trance scene is even cheesier than Dallas's cuz ther are a lot of really cool young people that dont listen to any electronic music, its more of an ethnic beat, underground hip hop, tjam band, indie rock, thing, i miss it
