If you weren't there, shame on your momma. . .

Demarkus with certain "lavish habits", Manny with some nice improvisation, and the king of the night, Derrick Carter.

Much dancing, much drinking, much sweating, much talking, much screaming, much
random fondling (opps!), and much enjoyment was had.

I hope this happens again sometime and soon.

Thanks to Lizard Lounge for one of the best $10 events in the history of the venue.

fuck it's real simple. dallas has shit to be thankful for. besides derrick bringing his usual bangers to make you sweat. we had a who's who of dj's in LL at one time.

all the usual suspects were there, if you weren't, time to figure out what you're in it for. funny to see that many housecats there. did hell freeze over? no, it was too fucking hot because derrick was rocking doubles and making asses bounce.

House heads, junglists, old heads and new (from near and far) were in the place last night. Demarkus always controlling shit on the decks and the Derrick came right in without fail and smacked the living, fucking shit out of the dance floor.

I have been itching to go out and dance for a couple of months now and since Derrick was in town I thought it would be a perfect time. 9 months sober and I figured I was due for some time to cut a rug and get my groove on and I had a great time. Tina and I really enjoyed Demarkus set. We only stayed 30 minutes for Carter so I can't really tell you much about what he did. I still love to dance. I just have different priorites today.
