Sean it was really an experience to see you play and although I know you mean business, you really surprised me by breaking out with the old Rage track. They were always my favorite band since day 1 and by mixing that with the sweetest sound you have created a monster of a mix set & I look forward to hearing more of your work.

Last night was so much fun! With such a stellar line-up, I knew everyone's sets were gonna be just as dope. I was not disappointed. Leslie came out of the wood works swinging with those viscious broken beats. DAMN girlie. It was so good to see you behind the decks again. Sladek-his set was flawless. Awesome selection/incredible mixing. It was great to see all the usual suspects and a few new faces. Cubano-always a pleasure Tessai-nice to finally meet you. Glad you liked the cd. James/Jessica-you guys are awesome. See you this weekend.

Where to start!?!?!?

-Thank you so much James for offering me the residency!!! I really appreciate the recognition and to join the crew with Storm-E, James, and all the staff... It's a pretty big opportunity to grab the torch passed by Trance-Factor, and I promise not to disappoint. I'll keep my sets as diverse as I can, and expect a very, very exciting tag set with me and an incredible talent that's brand new to the breaks side of things! This past Tuesday night was a dream come true for yours truly! I got to play the opening slot for one of my good friends and enjoyed o few to many crow-n-cokes while listening to the 2 DJs I look up to the most.

-Leslie, I don't see how you took so many months off without a hint of losing your stride. Every time I have the pleasure of seeing you play... I'm left speechless! I can honestly say that I've never seen a breaks DJ in my life that holds on to a mix as long as you do... I could almost swear (the whiskey may bea factor, but I'm not far off) you threw a few mixes that lasted almost half a record, seemlessly flowing in and out of each repeatedly. You will always be one of the biggest influences on my music, both in your style and impecable composure in the booth.
-To those of you that missed the show tuesday (or left early like a damn woman) I can confidently say that you should go ahead and lift your hand up as high as you can squeeze your fingers into a tight fist and punch yourself in the head with all of your strength for disregarding what I told you... Mr. Sean Sladek fucking rocked Ecco harder than any other DJ that has ever been booked there...BAR-NONE!!!!!!! I was left staring with my jaw on the floor for much of your set. The promoters in Dallas will be kicking themselves when they realize that you've gone for virtually a year without being booked. My respect is forever earned by your set, even more-so by the conversations I had with you before you went on. I consider myself very well-read as far as the new-school breaks side of things go, but you my friend are impressive!!! I wish you all the luck in the world at Club Seven, in your career, and especially in your future production work. I hope for the Dallas club-going public that all your bookings in the new year come through, and If you are ever looking for help in promoting anything we talked about just drop me a line!!!
-To anyone I didn't mention, thanks for coming out and supporting the crew. Again, James.... Thank you so much for the resident spot at Ecco and I'm sure we'll be playing records together every chance we get!
