DAMN!!!! Another great fucking show. Me and Joni got to Nokia about 30 minutes early. I was suprised as hell that Joni actually made it to my apartment on time. I knew we were going to have a good time when that happened. When we first got there we got some beer and I chugged a Guiness, which is pretty nasty, then got a $7 budlight which was mighty tasty after drinking the sickness that is Guiness. We went and sat down and I was expecting Manson to come straight out because I had heard nothing about an opening band. It turns out the opening band was a 1/2 chick, 1/2 dude band called "Slunt" from New York. They were suprisingly good. They sort of reminded me of Lords of Acid without the synths. All of the songs were about sex, cocks, pussy, etc. I definitely enjoyed that part, but the songs were suprisingly good and both of the chicks were hot. The bassist was making my cock hard. She had dark brunette hair and was talking all types of dirty. I liked her a lot. During intermission I pee'd atleast 3 times. Beer flows through me like a river. I don't think I have ever seen so many hot women in one place. I was surrounded by gothic beauties. I could hardly contain myself. I was in heaven. It felt great being in that place. Manson finally came out and started with the string quartet version of Antichrist Superstar, then he came out on stage to Prelude (The Family Trip). Prelude The Love Song Irresponsible Hate Anthem Disposable Teens mOBSCENE Tourniquet Personal Jesus Get Your Gunn Great Big White World (s)Aint Tainted Love The Fight Song The Nobodies The Dope Show Rock is Dead The Golden Age of Grotesque Sweet Dreams Lunchbox The Beautiful People Antichrist Superstar The show was incredible. The guitarist was definitely not as good as John 5, but I was expecting that. He wasn't as exciting either. He was good, but come on, it's John 5. Manson's stage presence never ceases to amaze me. He has the crowd in the palm of his hand. I'm glad I went to this show. I know Joni had a great time seeing Manson for the first time even though she was tired. I'm glad that of all people, she got to go with me. I can always count on her to be down for shit like this. If Manson ever decides to do another tour, you better believe I'm going to be there. P.S. There is nothing better than being at a Manson concert except being at a Manson concert with 3 beautiful goth chicks in front of you making out, fondeling eachother, stripper dancing and basically molesting the fuck out of eachother.

I'll go out on a limb and say that I thought the show was just OK. I haven't seen Manson live since he used to open up for Nine Inch Nails, but the show last night just didn't have the same energy that they used to it seemed to me. Maybe Manson's just getting older ... maybe I'm just getting older ... In fact the pit looked like a bunch of people standing around all night. The venue was pretty dope though. It was great to hear lunchbox and get your gun ... haven't heard those live in a lonnnnng time ... ran into steve-o, tekfunk and jediphonix! That's my review! Don't know if it was worth the $100 I spent for the whole evening or not ...

I'm sure it had a lot to do with John 5 and Twiggy not being in the band anymore. Not to mention Ginger Fish is in a cast and not able to play the drums for most of the tour.
