Irene plays a range of music. Usually between funky house, hard house, and trance.

yeah good tunes but shit, i've heard those linkin park tracks that past 3 times she's been here. i dunno, its a good party but there were so many fuckin people there i got uncomfortable. it was hard to do much of anything but stand there and bob your head to the beat b/c even if you were lucky enough to have a few feet of space to dance in, lots of people were shoving their way through the crowd and i was mostly just getting pushed around. that and lots of hands grabbing my ass made for even more discomfort.

oh god and then wow there were a lot of drugged up uglies there too! yeech!

The Intro to her set had energy.. then it just started getting into repetitive bullshit.. I had more fun in the video bar and deck.. the woman packs venues I'll give her that, but she packs them full of people that wouldn't know cheese from a dancefloor destructor.

She knows how to work a crowd I'll also give her that.. but c'mon.. you start clapping your hands and pumping your fists to a crowd of drunk/just plain fucked up people and see if they don't reply in kind. Good to see you at the show Travis.. Like my take home treat?

irene in her "global house" days was one of the best hardcore djs out there. she still rocks,but she started going down hill with live from ibiza.... or whatever the hell that cd was called. dont stop till the party stops...YO!
